This program invites applications from eligible academic and research institutions to apply for funding to modernize existing or construct new biomedical research facilities. Applications from both research-intensive institutions and Institutions of Emerging Excellence in biomedical research, both highly resourced and low-resourced institutions, from all geographic regions in the nation are strongly encouraged.
The CPACHE Program develops and maintains comprehensive, long-term, and mutually beneficial partnerships between institutions serving underserved health disparity populations and underrepresented students and NCI-designated Cancer Centers. The program aims to achieve a stronger national cancer program and address challenges in cancer and cancer disparities research, education, and outreach, as well as cancer's impact on underserved populations.
This program supports projects that create computational tools and data to facilitate basic research in the social and behavioral sciences that can lead to improved health, prosperity and security. Projects should be aimed at creating computational tools and data to enable research by social scientists. Examples include, but are not limited to, data collection or assembly efforts that result in new resources for a community of researchers or software platforms that facilitate data collection efforts by others.
An Ideas Lab is an intensive meeting that brings together multiple diverse perspectives to focus on finding innovative cross-disciplinary solutions to a grand challenge problem. The goal of the Personalized Engineering Learning Ideas Lab is to extend engineering education research to enable advanced personalization in pedagogy and assessment in a K-12 or higher education context. The following broad areas have been identified as possible avenues to advance knowledge: personalized engineering education, multimodal sensing for personalized learning systems and team-based personalized learning.
This program aims to support early-stage research in emerging technologies for teaching and learning that respond to pressing needs in authentic (real-world) educational environments. RITEL supports future-oriented exploratory and synergistic research in emerging technologies (including, but not limited to, artificial intelligence, robotics, and immersive or augmenting technologies) for teaching and learning. The program accepts proposals that focus on learning, teaching, or a combination of both.
The purpose of this solicitation is to broaden participation in innovation ecosystems that advance key technologies (e.g., advanced manufacturing, advanced wireless, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, quantum information science, semiconductors, novel materials, and microelectronics) by supporting capacity-building efforts at IHEs interested in growing external partnerships.

This solicitation invites participation in an Ideas Lab, which is an intensive, facilitated workshop that brings together multiple diverse perspectives to find innovative solutions to a grand challenge. This Ideas Lab will focus on exploration of innovative approaches for addressing the research capacity needs of the nation’s HBCUs and development of collaborative networks among HBCUs that enable research in STEM.

This program supports individual engineers and scientists who propose novel research projects with the potential to innovatively and creatively address major societal challenges, advance U.S. leadership, and catalyze the convergence of engineering and science domains. The program emphasizes the qualities of the investigator that illustrate they can conceive of and support transformative research projects and make major contributions toward solving significant research problems. The program supports engineers and scientists with excellent records of innovation and creativity with successful outcomes to pursue new research directions.
Eligibility:
The applying PI must have an appointment in an Engineering School or College and/or have earned an Engineering Doctorate degree, and must be tenured or tenure-eligible.
This program aims to support fundamental research about what constitutes or promotes responsible and ethical conduct of research. The ER2 program seeks to encourage STEM researchers, practitioners, and educators at all career stages to conduct research with integrity and to educate others about RECR. Research questions of interest to the program could address ethical issues involving diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, bias, culture, transparency and mentoring or other interpersonal behaviors in research environments.

The Wenner-Gren Foundation is committed to playing a leadership role in anthropology. It aims to help anthropologists advance anthropological knowledge, build sustainable careers, and amplify the impact of anthropology on the broader world. The Foundation invites applications for its Post-PhD Research grants program. The program will grant up to $25,000 to support individual research projects undertaken by doctorates in anthropology or a closely related field.
This funder aims to end suffering and death due to melanoma by collaborating with all stakeholders to accelerate powerful research, advance cures for all patients, and prevent more melanomas. MRA solicits proposals that address the gap in translational science (i.e., turning scientific discoveries into tools and/or treatments for high-risk individuals and patients with melanoma). Successful proposals can potentially apply important basic and preclinical discoveries to the near-term development of clinical trials and studies impacting melanoma detection, prevention, diagnosis, and/or treatment.
