Through the RFP, NGS aims to support projects or research that enacts the future today, and aims to support projects that cultivate in learners of any age the knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed to take action in ways that benefit the planet and its people. Projects will be supported that advance knowledge about how to spark curiosity and inspire learners of all ages to care for and protect our world; pilot new, or scale proven, educational solutions; enable learners to acquire new knowledge, skills, behaviors, and attitudes that help them care for and protect our world; and use interdisciplinary approaches. Programmatic and research efforts are supported.
Early career fellowships support scholarly research in all disciplines of the humanities and the social sciences. Research may be conducted on any topic related to the cultures, histories, and societies in China and their influence and impact on communities, countries, and cultures around the world.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be without tenure and within eight years of the PhD.
The society invites applications for its Lewis and Clark Fund for Exploration and Field Research grants program, which will provide grants of up to $5,400 in support of exploratory field studies for the collection of specimens and data and to provide the imaginative stimulus that accompanies direct observation. Proposals that are archival in nature or museum-based will typically not be considered. Budgets should be limited to travel and related expenses, including personal field equipment.
This initiative aims to discover and scale bold ideas to help women thrive and everyone win in a rapidly changing workplace. The $60 million grant competition aims to source and scale innovative solutions to address barriers like caregiving responsibilities and biases that tend to disproportionately impact women and are harmful for everyone.
The Foundation invites applications for its conference and workshop grants program, which will award grants to support meetings and events that promote the development of inclusive communities of anthropologists and advance significant and innovative research. The aim of the program is to help organizers make conferences and workshops more inclusive and accessible by covering costs for scholars who might not otherwise be able to attend. The maximum grant awarded through this program is $20,000.
The goal of HES4A is to support the career development and academic progress of faculty conducting health equity research. Grants will be awarded to address the challenges that historically marginalized faculty typically experience and help them overcome obstacles to earning tenure. HES4A projects focus on transformative, action-oriented evidence addressing structural barriers and are aligned with RWJF’s mission to achieve equity. The program welcomes applications that apply an intersectional approach, with the aim of improving social, political, and economic conditions that support health and health equity.
Grants of up to $150,000 over two years will be awarded to investigators at the level of associate professor or higher with an established record of research and publication. AFSP grants support studies aimed at increasing the understanding of the causes of suicide and factors related to suicide risk, or that test treatments and other interventions designed to prevent suicide.
MRA aims to end suffering and death due to melanoma by collaborating with all stakeholders and accelerate powerful research, advance cures for all patients, and prevent more melanomas. This RFP aims to support clinical validation studies or phase I clinical trials using new or improved imaging technologies, biomarkers, monitoring algorithms, diagnostic or screening tests, or devices. Studies proposing the use of technologies that are easily scalable are encouraged.
EMF invites applications for the Early Career Research Development Grant, which is designed to provide early career faculty applicants with the opportunity to develop a thoughtful career development plan (e.g., didactics, mentored meetings, and/or advanced degree) and design, develop, and lead a research project that will advance their career in preparation for extramural funding. Grants of $150,000 will be awarded to enable early career awardees to make substantial progress toward an independent research career and successfully compete for extramural funding.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be within seven years of residency graduation, and at assistant professor rank or below.
The Grass Foundation recognizes and supports efforts to use neuroscience as a way to unite thoughtful people across various socioeconomic and geographic barriers. The Foundation invites applications for its 2026 Grass Fellowship program at the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) in Woods Hole, Massachusetts. The fellowship program supports investigator-designed, independent research projects by scientists early in their careers. The program provides 14 weeks of research support, including a stipend, laboratory space, animals, equipment, and supplies for a summer in residence at MBL. In addition, the investigator, his/her spouse or legal domestic partner, and dependent children are provided housing and round-trip travel to the MBL.
This program aims to accelerate basic discoveries, expedite novel treatment options, and, ultimately, improve patient outcomes for people living with FTD. A broad range of topics are responsive to this call. The program intends to award up to five two-year basic or early-stage translational research grants led by doctoral-level investigators at qualifying research-based institutions worldwide. Projects will be eligible for up to $500,000 in funding over two years, inclusive of indirect costs.
The Foundation invites applications for its research grants program, which provides essential funding for seed or pilot research projects into finding a cure for TANGO2 deficiency disorder, fostering the exploration of groundbreaking research concepts. These awards support initial testing phases, allowing researchers to embark on smaller-scale endeavors.
