FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
Grant Name: Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training Program for Paraprofessionals (HRSA)
Summary:  The purpose of the BHWET Program for Paraprofessionals is to develop and expand community-based experiential training such as field placements and internships to increase the skills, knowledge and capacity of students preparing to become mental health workers, peer support specialists, and other behavioral health paraprofessionals. 
Eligibility:  There are no eligibility restrictions.
Dates:  Proposals are due by March 18, 2025.
Grant Name: Rural Residency Planning and Development (HRSA)
Summary:  This program aims to improve and expand access to health care in rural areas by developing new sustainable rural residency programs, including rural track programs (RTPs). These residency programs must achieve accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Newly created rural residency programs will increase the number of future physicians training in rural areas, and ultimately the number of physicians practicing in rural areas with the goal of addressing the physician workforce shortages in rural communities. 
Eligibility:  IHEs are eligible to apply, and in some cases health-related organizations can apply (see RFP for details).
Dates:  Proposals are due by April 10, 2025.
Grant Name: Regional Telehealth Resource Centers (HRSA)
Summary:  Funded telehealth resource centers will support healthcare organizations, networks, and providers with telehealth implementation and training for rural areas, frontier communities, and medically underserved areas, as well as for medically underserved populations.
Eligibility:  There are no eligibility restrictions.
Dates:  Proposals are due by April 14, 2025.
